When Diamond Taylor left UW, his departure opened up a scholarship for the Badger coaching staff to use somewhere else. Head coach Bo Ryan offered that scholarship to Josh Gasser, a 2010 prospect from Port Washington Wisc.�

On Thursday, the 6-foot-3 guard ended his recruitment and decided to commit to Wisconsin.�

Gasser is now the second commitment in the class of 2010. Evan Anderson, a center from Eau Claire, is the other known commitment. There is one more scholarship left, and many Badger fans are hoping Vander Blue takes the final spot.�

Gasser holds offers from Creighton, Arizona State and Maryland, but he�ultimately�chose UW over Northern Iowa and Northwestern.�
