After a disappointing split at No. 7 Colorado College last weekend, the Wisconsin men’s hockey team returns to the Kohl Center for a series with top-ranked Denver.

The Pioneers have been atop the polls for a number of weeks now and should prove a tough match for the No. 3 Badgers. DU owns a five-game winning streak over UW and has gone 11-2 in its last 13 games at the Kohl, dating back to 2002.

Though history looks to be against the Badgers, Wisconsin has a couple of advantages of its own. UW is 8-2-2 at home this season, and 5-1-1 at the Kohl Center against teams ranked No. 1 during the Mike Eaves era.
