The Madison Police Department arrested a suspect related to the shooting at Stillwater’s sometime before midnight Tuesday. Police said the suspect in custody was involved in a disturbance before the shooting and the investigation is continuing.

A man who argued with the suspect before the shooting was the only individual injured when an unidentified suspect shot 10 rounds through the window of Stillwater’s at 1:37 a.m. Sunday night. The 23-year-old victim was released from a local hospital after treatment for injuries to his arm and leg.

The shooting occurred during Stillwater’s weekly open mic hip-hop night. Stillwater’s management has ended hip-hop nights as a result of the shooting.
