A man robbed the UW Credit Union located on State Street today, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Madison Police Department Public Information Officer Joel DeSpain said the suspect entered the bank at 12:25 p.m. The suspect passed a note to a teller, implying he had a weapon. However, no weapon was seen.

After receiving the money, the suspect fled on foot.

According to the incident report, the suspect is a white male between 5’8” and 5’9” inches tall. He was wearing a white t-shirt and carrying a brown satchel.
